MT 125 Specifications and Features
MT 125 specs are identical in terms of design to those of the MT-15. It has the same transformer-style front end with two LED DRLs on either side of the projector headlight. The motorcycle has a wide, flat handlebar that finishes in a small tail section and a sculpted tank with aggressive tank extensions.
The UK-spec MT 125 has inverted forks, an aluminum cast swingarm, and dual–channel ABS, whereas the MT-15 has right-side-up telescopic forks, a box–type swingarm, and single–channel ABS to keep costs down.
It has a 124.7-cc single-cylinder engine with variable valve actuator (VVA), similar to the MT-15 and YZF-R15 V3 models available here, which power the MT 125. The engine can generate 12.4nm at 8000 rpm and 14.5 horsepower at 9000 rpm. With the help of a slipper clutch, a six-speed constant mesh gearbox manages the transmission tasks. The MT-125 weighs 140 kg at the kerb and has a ground clearance of 140mm.
