Nothing Phone 2a Specifications and Price in India: Nothing has launched a new phone in India called Nothing Phone 2a. It launched on March 5, 2024, in India.
The price of the Nothing Phone 2a is under Rs. 25,000. The sale starts on March 12, and it will be sold via Flipkart and Amazon’s official website. It has three variants: 8 GB + 128 GB, 8 GB + 256 GB, and 12GB + 512GB.
Nothing Phone 2a has MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Pro as a processor and two 50 MP cameras with a 6.7-inch display. It will be available in two colours. One is white, and the other is black. It has the same design as the Nothing Phone 2, with a light on the back.
Nothing Phone 2a Display
Nothing Phone 2a has a 6.7” AMOLED display with a 120Hz fast refresh rate. It has the protection of Gorilla Glass 5. It’s a FHD, not 1.5K. It has a peak brightness of 1300 nits. When you use it in High Brightness Mode, it has a brightness of 1100 nits. It also has 2160 Hz PWM dimming. So that’s all there. It has an adaptive refresh rate of 30 Hz, 60 Hz, and 120 Hz. It doesn’t go below 30 Hz; it’s not LTPO.
Nothing Phone 2a Design
Nothing Phone 2a has the same design as the Nothing Phone 2, with a light on the back. It has three glyph lights on the side of the camera. Now the first change is the plastic back. Yes, it used to be a glass back; now they have a plastic back. It’s quite a fingerprint magnet.
Ports and buttons There’s a SIM card tray, a microphone, and a USB Type-C port. There’s a speaker grill on the left. Oh, alright. There’s a volume rocker on the left. There are two up-down buttons. And there’s a power on/off button on the right. There are in-display fingerprints. It’s not side-mounted. It has a thickness of 8.55mm and a weight of around 190 grams.

It has the processor of a MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Pro based on 4nm. It’s very power-efficient. Talking about the AnTuTu score, it is around 6.97 Lakh. It’s slightly above the Qualcomm SD778. It has 3 variants: 8GB RAM, 128GB storage, 8GB RAM 256GB and 12GB RAM 256GB.
Nothing Phone 2a Camera
It has a 50 MP rear camera with 50 MP primary and 50 MP ultrawide lenses. a 32MP selfie sensor. The primary sensor has good colours in normal conditions; it has a dynamic range, but sometimes it’s hit-and-miss. For video recording, it has 4K @ 30 FPS with a primary sensor and ultrawide. For a selfie camera, we can record video at 1080p @ 60 fps.
Nothing Phone 2a Battery
It has a 5000mAh battery that supports 45W fast charging. Talking about the charging time, it takes around 50 minutes to charge this phone from 0% to 100%. After the full charge, we can use this phone all day if you are not a heavy user. For day-to-day life tasks, you can use this phone all day easily.
Nothing Phone 2a OS and Security Updates
Nothing Phone 2a is running on NothingOS 2.5, which is based on Android 14. Nothing will give us 3 years of major OS updates and 4 years of security updates. NothingOS is a clean UI with no bloatware. But the best part is the implementation of NothingOS.

It is a 5G phone, and there are 13 5G bands, dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi calling support, VONR support, WiFi 6 support, and Bluetooth 5.3. There’s also NFC, which is coiled around the cameras.

The price of this phone starts at Rs. 23,999, and there are three variants.the base variant 8GB + 128GB at the price of Rs. 23,999, 8GB + 256GB at the price of Rs. 25,999, and 12GB + 256GB at the price of Rs. 27,999. The effective price of this will be Rs. 19,999 for 8GB + 128GB, and it will be sold via Flipkart on March 12 in India.
